In the days when the twins of war chose to make their Abysmal heir, the Fragmented Man took time out to grow his worst legacy. From Alrond the Destroyer and Bauche the Conceiver came Vardos the Progenitor, and thus is forecast the end of all worlds.
Thinking about it, the Prophecy sounds ominous, but nothing in it is obviously a bad thing, apart from ‘forecasting the end of all worlds’ and even then, it might simply just be an Oracle who can tell when things will end, like several billion years from now, which I wouldn’t have a problem about.
Appellations containing titles which indicate absolute governance over a concept would seem to indicate Gods. The Fragmented Man is known to me, and that bit has me most worried. Especially the part about “taking” Time to grow his worst legacy. That speaks of a very specific sort of power, and its use never results in anything of lasting good, though it’s beaucoup righteous at wreaking havoc. At a glance, I would say that these beings are inter-continua deities and they’ve made an alliance with a major Abyssal power, and that’s a formula for the final Apocalypse.
I’ve checked, this seems to be appearing from several psychics, prophets and augurs from various places (not just St. James), starting around the same time.

The Twins of War are obviously Marik and Maryse. I was confused by reference to their heir, but the Abyssal reference makes a sort of sense, either in terms of the far flung probabilities inherent therein by virtue of connectivity to outer continua or the folding of time upon time to bring things which might have been into chronal sync with what we know as the present, on-going timeline. They have never conceived a child which was not born a monstrosity, and those they killed. It was they who made the proclamation against incestuous union. They are my kin, but my choices and nature preclude me from being a good touchstone to them.
As to the Framented Man…that is best discussed outside of the public eye. This prophecy concerns me greatly, so contact me as soon as possible, Bill.
While it is true that the Twins of war could refer Marik and Maryse, we must not allow ourselves the assumption that they must be the ones mentioned in the Prophecy. We must not fall into the belief that they are the only candidates.
There are more things in Heaven, Earth and the Abyss than we can ever hope to know or understand.
Progenitor doesn’t sound particularly threatening, but I guess that depends on the progeny. The thing is, if it’s a true prophecy, does it matter what we know or don’t know? Can prophecy be thwarted?

The twins of war could very well be my brother and sister Marik and Maryse. They are twins and they are the gods of war in the Patheon of the Empire of Eboracum.
The twins of war could very well also be my delightful Aunt Lintra Hendrake and her brother Authur Wellesley. While it has not widely discussed in the past, I can say with authority that my grandmother Lintra, now of the red eyes, in her formerly living days only managed to seduce Benedict of Amber the one time, and unlike certain other Amber/Chaos breeding events that Benedict was involved in, on this occasion there was a more or less amicable decision made to keep one each of the resulting offspring. But they were born as twins.
The twins of war could very possibly be Yvaine and Viviana Wolfe. Born of an incestuous union between Guinevere and Lancelot, don’t let the lack of an X chromosome in this pair lead you astray, particularly when the phrase ‘Abysmal Heir’ was used – in the Abyss, all you need is two women and a lot of blood to get things done. It’s a hag thing.
While we’re on the subject of Wolves, the twins of could very possibly be Branwen and Mordred Wolfe, who were joyously put into, and subsequently popped out of, Luna-Lei the goddess of incest by Lancelot Wolfe, at the request of her brand new husband Randol, who being an Alternate, can’t get things like that done for himself.
And also, we should mention that the former Texas Governor’s wife Louise Wood, who is now Governor of a Federation Supply Colony called New Washington, spent quite a bit of time recently on the mother ship of the Goa’uld god Ares, during which time she popped out a set of twin horrors called Phobos and Deimos. The Feds delight in calling these two the twin gods of war, on account of them having Goa’uld symbiotes on board (Phobos andDeimos as it happens – a twin pair of children of Ares and Aphrodite). Anybody who takes an interest in Edwardiana is likely to run into them soon, because Ms Wood also brought forth a daughter called Adrestia (also hosting the Goa’uld Adrestia, daughter of Ares and Aphrodite), who has just taken over as Empress of Japan from Viviana Wolfe, and by all accounts Adriesta is very close to her twin brothers.
So five sets of possibles. I have my suspicions as to which it actually is, but no proof as yet, so I’ll keep my own counsel. But bear in mind that if this is supposed to have involved something back in time, its not going to be anybody particularly young. #JustSayin
Thankfully, this is why I continue to throw out ideas and suggestions here, because as well as the negative, you do get the positive, helpful insights from people who know a hell of a lot more than many of us do.

If it is current, then I can think of at least 3 notable Twins that might fit that idea if the names were changed.
