The circumstances of these events are unclear at this time, and a full investigation is in process. However, it would appear that under the cover of the noise from recent events in Amber, a stealth attack of some kind was launched against Jesbyways, and this attack resulted in the complete destruction of the Ways, and the loss of all souls and assets therein.
At this time, there is now a second Abyss hole in Thelbane, on the site of the former Jesbyways. It is not yet clear exactly where this hole appears in the Abyss, but initial investigations would seem to indicate that it is not in the Abyss Realm of Queen Cymnea.
There is every expectation that there will be further Shadow Storms as a result of this cataclysm. Creation is warned to beware and batton down that hatches once again.
Hell-General Lord Harold Hendrake, Secretary to Their Majesties King Mandor and Queen Hera.
If anyone knows something about this and what happened, please do give us a heads up. 2 new holes in Creation at each end of the Multiverse can’t be a coincidence.
Maybe it’s just the paranoid in me, but I also wonder how many Jesby’s died owing a debt.
Regarding the second part of that comment, we will try and publish details of those newly inflicted with the curse of the Red Eye, as soon as that information becomes known.
The Libris Demonicae have now been updated with the information we have obtained.
Seraphina and Darik have both been demonified, and Serpahina has paid for that with two children by the Monarch, Seraphant and Jesebina.
With one huge shadow storm heading out from Amber and another set from Thelbane, it will not be at all safe for those Realms caught in the middle, either being hit by the shadow storms in quick succession or worse still at the same time. Again this will only serve to give those Abyssal forces behind the attacks more distractions and opportunities to strike again.
I agree with Bill the timing of the two attacks show they were planned, coordinated and premeditated. Also it was obvious that the attackers were well informed and knew precisely where and when to strike. It maybe only a small crumb of comfort that the attack on Amber could have been worse.
Given these successful attacks have weaken the two of the most ancient tethers of this creation, are we at a point where we in this multiverse should all seriously consider ourselves under threat and need to pool resources, in terms of information, manpower and materials? It might be hard to put aside old prejudices but this potentially threatens everyone.
I mourn the loss of life from both attacks and fear these won’t be the last.
I fear you are entirely correct.
If we need a way to bring disparate interests to the table for a face to face with a measure of safety, I may have something that can help with that. If people are truly serious about banding together, I’ve also developed something which makes such agreements more binding, and very obvious when the terms are broken, and by whom. Given the general levels of distrust between various of the powerbrokers, full transparency into the state of agreements may help offset some of those historical distrusts enough to allow for something more resembling cooperation.
Yes, to all that.
Also, the Daleks came to Amber to find certain people, right? Could they have been at House Jesby with a similar purpose? I’m hesitant to use any names on here, given that just about everybody is reading in, but is there a list somewhere of those lost during the attack?
I can simply say that the attack on House Jesby does not appear to be Dalek related even if the natures of both attacks appear to be very obviously connected. A hole at each end of Creation can’t be a coincidence.
As to who was lost, hard to say definitely yet, but most of House Jesby.
All right, thanks for letting me know.
Checks into the situation are underway. Once they figure out exactly what happened, we’ll get to see what happens.
Appears that the Wolfs swiped the manifestation of the Logrus that was in Jesby, which opened up the new hole.
Demon realm appears to be down there close to the bottom of the Brownwater region in the new hole.
Yeah, they did. And that news could be really bad if they ever decided to come out. A direct route out into Creation doesn’t strike me as something we’d want above the ‘Hell’ that possibly holds the demonic holdovers from previous Creations.
[That’s a guess, Leo, Jonathon, Sophia maybe you have more of a clue in that regard than I do.]
Not sure if we’re talking about the same hell. I’m talking about Demon (not daemon) realm down the Jesby hole. As in, Swayvanna was down there.
I don’t know about the location of the Hell that houses Satan or Lucifer.
We probably are. I was just going on the ridiculously huge numbers of demons that I was told reside in that realm because not having a soul means you don’t take up much (or any) room towards the maximum of the Realm.
I suppose they could all be from this Creation.
