Proclamation from the Royal Court of Amber {Post Tircon-23}

Having spent the last while leading the loyal troops of Amber in battle at the very foot of Mount Kolvir, repelling an invasion of Creatures of Chaos, that originated from Down a Black Road that led from the very gates of Greater Thelbane to our own gate, it is with great sadness that we must declare that the state of Brotherly Harmony, which previously existed between Greater Thelbane and Amber, is now ended. The Greater Thelbane Ambassador and all the Ambassadorial staff are hereby expelled from Amber. There is an amnesty of twenty-four hours for them to vacate the diplomatic premises, after which those premises will be forfeit to the Crown. Any further contact between Greater Thelbane and Amber will be hosted by our brother Finndo, in Asgard. We hereby appoint our Loyal son, Prince Eric as our Ambassador in Asgard.

It is also a sad day for many of Amber’s people, for whom, in past times, the inclinations of romance had led them to stride the enormity of all Shadow and consort with descendants of Greater Thelbane. That state of duality will no longer be permitted to exist. With heavy hearts, we must declare that you are either here, or there. That same twenty-four hour amnesty will exist for all to make the necessary arrangements to permanently move to the court of you choice, and for those who were not observed to be arrayed against us on the battlefield, then we shall honour your peaceful departure, and wish you farewell.

Certain of our family were observed to be arrayed against us on the battlefield. Those persons are hereby declared to be Enemies of Amber, and will be detained immediately upon being discovered, anywhere in Amber, the Golden circle, or anywhere else in Shadow, to be brought before the Crown for sentencing. Most chiefly amongst that number, is our own son Corwin, no longer a Prince of Amber. May the Unicorn have mercy on his soul.

Also at this time, having been observed personally leading forces against us, the following individuals are also declared Enemies of Amber, to be detained immediately upon being discovered, anywhere in Amber, the Golden circle, or anywhere else in Shadow, to be brought before the Crown for sentencing: Crown Prince Bleys Barimen, Prince Brand Barimen, Princess Batelle Hendrake, Archduke Eregion Jesby, Archduke Tubble Chanicut.
