I’d like to point out as I look at the rosters… We have the near-perfect setup to have the PC’s completely wreck something in slot 6, “fix” it in slot 7, and then have the guilty parties show up and see the terrible job they’ve done in slot 8.
Jonathan, the best humor is the kind that has the grain of truth. You’ve got the knack I think.
Lydia, I think I’ve made the point to you before that this isn’t a status quo we should accept.
Maybe the player/characters might aspire instead to a condition where in slot 6 an OPFOR actually causes more trouble than they do, in slot 7 the party gets some kind of solution in place, and in slot 8 the group deals competently with the fallout from all the things that weren’t thought of, or the political mess that results?
Spec Ops infers a rule of law, a sense of duty, discipline, professionalism, and a high degree of competence and skill. Its typically a unit people work to get into and strive to remain worthy to remain in. It is usually a place where standards and expectations are high.
I think the SpecOps designation needs to be dropped from this unit.
I think Jonathan put “fix” in quotes. So maybe not exactly the dream team…Jonathan included himself in the humor.
And the last time Ani went to Amber with Anabelle part of the Sorcerer’s Tower got blown out and there was mayhem at the Vintner’s Ball. That was Anabelle’s engagement I seem to recall. Given what later followed at Ani’s wedding…unit personnel should just shack up, its seemingly a lot safer.
So sending a group for a Hen party?
If one stone is standing on another by the end of it, Amber has gotten off lucky. 🙂
I’d be happy to attend Annabelle’s hen party in anticipation to her wedding to my uncle Julian. Please feel free to let me know how Parys can support this wonderful event.
Ooc: Dear wonderful people of Slot 7: that was fantastic. You all rock.

It’s going to take me some time to find a good way to show how much gratitude I have for all of you. Please contact me if you wish to come to Animus to discuss.
Welcome to the new players! Welcome back to the returning players!

So a typical week in Spec Ops then?

If slot seven is our dream team of responsible characters who fix things, then we are in trouble. It does look like a fun group, though.
