At the Court of King Mandor (14th July 2010 equivalent)

It is hereby announced that it is our intention to revive the use of the formal title of Archduke or Archduchess for the Head of a Major House of Thelbane. This revision will be formalised for all the Major Houses of Thelbane when we declare the results of the assessment of House Karm at the next Lamas festival.

The Consorts, if any, of the Head of a Major House will be accorded the title Duke or Duchess, at an equivalent aristocratic ranking to that of a Head of a Minor House. Consorts of the Head of a Minor House will continue to be accorded the title Duke Consort or Duchess Consort, and be at one level lower in aristocratic rank than their spouse.

The title Prince or Princess remains reserved for children of a ruling King of Thelbane, past or present, who hold no other superior Major House title, and is to be of equivalent rank to the Head of a Minor House.

The individual Houses of Chaos will continue to use the titles of Count and Countess, baron and Baroness, and Lord and Lady, for the family members of their Houses as has been their traditions.

Signed and sealed this day, at His Majesty’s command, by Lord Harold Hendrake, Lord Privy Seal of Thelbane.
