Published in the Animus Foreign Office Reader, a weekly newsletter / scientific journal / fiction magazine provided in all realms where Animus has an office
“Lady Jade Fang, Foreign Minister of Animus, is pleased to announce her forthcoming marriage to A.C. Smith, Creator of Sygyl. Their wedding will be celebrated after the summer solstice in Animus.”
Along with the announcement, the AFOR runs an article about Animan wedding traditions, and a short interview of Jade and A.C.. The sociology article enlightens people on what to expect in this new Realm; for example, what are the wedding gifting traditions? Typical gifts like books are fine, but also in Animus the couple, presumably with the help of their friends, sponsors something that will spread the joy to the rest of the population. Jade and A.C. intend to endow a chair of Metaphysical Ethics at Sabelline, the Oxford of Animus.
Excerpts from the interview:
Jade: “I met A.C. years ago, back on St. James. We’ve worked together off and on ever since, and all the while I loved how easy he was to talk to, how reliable a man to have at your back…”
A.C.: “We have always shared a conversation it seems. Insights, views, a shared sense of what was, or should be.”
Jade: “He is a quiet, observant, and very dear man, and I am so honored that we will be joining together. I love him deeply.”
A.C.: “Jade is true, sincere, passionate, and she brings out the same in me. I love her with the first true best love I have known.”

Followed by Jade and A.C. asking people in person or by individual email for their mailing addresses, followed by fancy formal wedding invitations to both the Earth wedding and the Animus wedding, which include a link to an individually passworded wedding website. The website has on the first page a request to keep the fiction going that Animus is a virtual reality.
There is a registry, and a suggestion that the couple would very much enjoy books that are meaningful to the giver, particularly in categories that the couple has studied, such as law, pharmacology, history, etiquette, politics, government, comparative religion, psychology, biography, metaphysics, and magic
