Launch Ceremony at the Kashfa Shipyards

Randol YorkeCoralIn an elaborate naming ceremony today at the Kashfa Space Shipyards, Queen Coral handed over the first of a new series of Armoured Colony Ships, named the CS Helen to First President Randol Yorke.

Rumours indicate that there are two further vessels in this series being build at shipyards somewhere in Shadow.

During the speeches, Randol announced that the Helen series of vessels would each lead a fleet, and be assigned the purpose of establishing Federation Colonies at various points in Shadow. He then went on to confirm Michael Barley II as Governor-General of the colony that would live on the CS Helen, along with his wife Nevaeh McKlintockFederation Celebrity Nevaeh McKlintock.Michael Barley II

The Prophecy…

In the days when the twins of war chose to make their Abysmal heir, the Fragmented Man took time out to grow his worst legacy. From Alrond the Destroyer and Bauche the Conceiver came Vardos the Progenitor, and thus is forecast the end of all worlds.

Swayvanna is Dead!

Swayvanna

30th May, in the year 25466 since the founding:

In a day that saw extensive terrorist attacks at several targets across Thelbane, some of which caused extensive Shadow storms throughout existence, Swayvanna, daughter of the late King Swayville of the Golden Throne, was declared Queen of Thelbane by Archduke Bances, by virtue of her occupancy of the Palace of Thelbane, and the adjacent Cathedral of the Dragon.

In a hastily arranged coronation ceremony that evening, as she ascended the steps to take the Throne, Swayvanna was shot with a single round to the head, before being beheaded by Mandor, who had appeared beside her as she fell.

HeraKing Mandor of ThelbaneKing Mandor then went on to thank ‘those Houses that had provided strength and support to Thelbane at this trying time’, particularly singling out for thanks ‘the Great House Discordia, and its Head of House, Lydia, upon whom we are happy to confer the title Archduchess’.

Mandor and Hera then went on to receive renewed Oaths of Allegience from all the heads of the Great Houses, while they sat together on the Throne, each with a foot resting on the headless body of Swayvanna as it lay there. Only after that ceremony was complete, did attendants of the Royal Guard remove the corpse and the head.

No word has been received as to who was the shooter, and Mandor has informed the Judiciary that he does not consider there to be any crimes to investigate in relation to the death of Swayvanna.
